What Is a Connection?
A connection is counted each time you actively stream content on a device. Each device streaming at the same time uses one connection.
- Watching on your TV uses 1 connection
- Watching on your TV and phone at the same time uses 2 connections
- Paused content does not count as an active connection
How Many Connections Do I Have?
Your connection limit depends on your subscription plan. Check your client portal to see your plan details and connection limit.
What Happens If I Exceed My Limit?
If you try to stream on more devices than your plan allows:
- The new stream may not start
- You may see an error message about too many connections
- You will need to stop playback on another device first
Tips for Managing Connections
- Close apps when done: Fully close streaming apps rather than only minimizing them
- Log out unused devices: If you no longer use a device, log out of the app
- Check for background playback: Some apps continue playing in the background
Need More Connections?
If you need more simultaneous streams, consider upgrading your plan. Visit our store or contact support for upgrade options.
Important for OMEGA TV: OMEGA TV connection limits cannot be upgraded while your subscription is active. An upgrade is only possible if you agree to reset your subscription days.
If you believe there is an issue with your connection count, contact us on Discord or submit a support ticket. Include your service name, app or device, and screenshots if possible.
